Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Lifemark - CORE Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physiotherapists in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physiotherapists with client care, including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs, and other treatment modalities.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Collect and analyze outcome measure data to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain and clean/sterilize medical equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
  • Inventory and manage clinical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.

Requirements:

  • PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a clinic setting, with a strong understanding of patient care and rehabilitation principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and management.
