**The role**:
We are seeking a highly talented business professional who is passionate about team morale, efficiency, optimization, functions & programs. This individual will know the true importance of marketing and organizational harmony. They know what is needed to take this ‘rocket-ship’ to the moon and beyond.
- They should have a deep understanding of the marketing discipline / practice or suitable equivalence, have a clear track record of delivering major performance improvements and efficiencies in a range of organizations.
They have strong people management skills, are capable of leading an org to, becoming, and maintaining a high-performance standard. They are committed to mentoring and motivating personnel along the way.
- They have an eye for detail; excel in making things simpler and more effective. An individual who thrives on removing bureaucracy; helping teams to be more productive whilst keeping the required level of governance and transparency needed for Armis & the office of the CMO
They thrive on collaboration; they will work within a framework that focuses on perfecting delivery, spend and resource whilst boosting morale.
**Team structure**
There are essentially four sub areas reporting into the MCoS namely the _PMO; MOps; Analytics/Reporting and Financial Management_. The MCoS is the right arm of the CMO when it comes to operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Program Management Office (PMO):
The Program Management Office creates a more efficient, effective, and collaborative org through the development and optimization of processes, workflows, procedures, and tools. They are the administrative quarter back to the entire marketing org and critical for the success of all major departmental projects.
- The PMO develops and supports a framework which helps to govern key programs and projects including planning, deployment, and monitoring activities with the wider team.
- Ensuring timelines, budget and OKRs are established, and collaborating with teams to continue monitoring performance throughout the related timeline.
The PMO is the beating heart of a high performing marketing organization, without such a team, a modern marketing organization can never become or maintain a high-performance status. The CoS ensures the PMO is always on track, this is a core requirement of their role.
The Director Marketing, PMO and their team (three) reports into the Marketing Chief of Staff (MCoS).
- Marketing Operations (MOps):
Leading a successful MOps team requires an in-depth understanding of the marketing practice, its intended outcomes and impact and what best in class systems optimization means. The CoS manages a Director, Marketing Operations, who has this range and scope.
The Director of Marketing Operations (MOps) and their team (four) reports into the Marketing Chief of Staff (MCoS).
- Analytics & Reporting:
A dedicated Marketing Analytics Manager reports into the Marketing Chief of Staff. This dedicated analyst working on behalf of the marketing organization is a resource to be leveraged primarily by the MCoS & the Vice President of Demand Generation.
