- You have or are willing to get your First Aid and CPR certification
- Employees 18 and over are required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
- It is an asset if you have experience working in outdoor education or guiding
- You are at least 21 years old

**Responsibilities**:
The assistant manager is a diverse position with a wide range of responsibilities. This team members overall objective is to help the park manager to ensure that the park is operating at its full potential.
- Human Resources _
- Assist with promoting a positive and secure work environment, monitor staff morale and boosting morale when needed
- Help to retain and control adequate staff numbers through low and high season
- Help to oversee staff interviews, hiring, evaluations, training and discipline
- Assist with scheduling
- Aid in organizing the year end gathering of staff
- Help ensure payroll responsibilities are completed accurately and on time
- Sales and Marketing_
- Help to build relationships within the community (Chamber of Commerce/Boards of Trade, Destination Marketing Organization)
- Host 1 event at your park
- Help to maintain constant communication with the marketing director to participate in local advertising opportunities
- Monitor the daily, weekly and monthly sales, and make projections for staffing and other resources
- Help with time slot management
- Ensure your team is providing the best customer service experience possible
- Accounting _
- Ensure the POS and Bookeo balance every day
- Ensure your staff, call centre etc. are using the reservation system accurately

(Gift Cards - Season Passes - Group Sales - Onsite sales (merch, food) - Special groups)
- Help to ensure all purchases are within the budget
- Operations_
- Ensure rules and regulations are being met or exceeded
- Help to oversee the daily operations of the park
- Address any customer complaints or concerns
- Report and ensure resolution of all maintenance needs on the property
- Help ensure all health and safety regulations are being met (including a monthly meeting)
- Help maintain a relationship with our property owners

**Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 5-12 months

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
