We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to lead our medical and clinical teams in maintaining the highest resident care standards while fostering an inclusive and compassionate environment.

**Role Overview**: As the Clinical Director, you will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for overseeing medical and therapeutic services for residents under the guidance of the Medical Director. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, optimal resident experiences, and alignment with our mission and vision. Your role is pivotal in maintaining strong community relationships and promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity.

**Detailed Accountabilities**:
Equitable Resident Care:

- Oversee all medical and therapeutic services required by residents throughout their treatment, following the guidance of the Medical Director.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse approach to resident care, considering individual needs and backgrounds.

Clinical Quality Assurance:

- Ensure clinical quality aligns with program standards, CARF policies, and our organizational mission and vision.
- Review and update clinical and medical policies and procedures as needed to enhance the resident experience.

Resident Outcome Evaluation:

- Evaluate resident outcomes, identifying trends and recommending improvements or follow-up care.
- Emphasize the importance of equitable and inclusive practices in achieving positive outcomes.

Community Relationships:

- Build and maintain positive community relationships with local hospitals, healthcare providers, colleges, and the LHIN.
- Foster partnerships that reflect our commitment to equity and diversity.

**Ideal Attributes and Qualifications**:
Clinical Expertise:

- Previous experience and education as a nurse or counselor, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in addiction treatment.
- At least three years of experience managing a team in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Effective Communication:

- Exhibit a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with residents, family members, referents, co-workers, external agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Prioritize clear and empathetic communication, embracing diversity in all interactions.

Operational Proficiency:

- Demonstrate strong multitasking skills and a deep understanding of facility operations, whether in a hospital or addiction residential treatment setting.
