Purchasing Administrator

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Administrator is responsible for all product data entry, for collating information from various suppliers into digestible formats for other departments, for checking invoices against purchase orders, and for maintaining system data integrity. The Purchasing Administrator is necessary to ensure smooth operations of the Purchasing Department and will aid other members of the team in their required tasks.
What you will do:
1. Monitor the shipping status of open purchase orders, and update ETAs of shipments to Lion Rampant in SalesPad.
2. Track and monitor purchases, from initial order to delivery
3. Create product upload files to add new items or revise active items in the inventory ERP software.
4. Manage and update item information in inventory ERP software
5. Analyze inventory movement and suggest seasonality changes + needed purchase orders
6. Organize product sell sheets into respective folders and coordinate product data between Purchasers
7. Work with the Website Coordinator to ensure product information is available
8. Work with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure necessary invoices are provided
9. Checking invoices to ensure they match Purchase Orders
10. Accept Purchase Orders from sister companies and input those orders into the ERP
11. Ensure all correspondence is handled according to the customer service standards guidelines
1. Master the MS Office suite including an intermediate knowledge of Excel.
2. Bilingualism is an asset (French Canadian)
3. Board Game Industry knowledge is an asset
4. Familiarity with ERP organizational structure
5. High school diploma or GED certificate, Post-Secondary Education of a College Diploma and/or University Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $24.31 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
