**About the Position**
- We are searching for a permanent _Proposal Manager _to join our Product and Innovation team.
- PBCs compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 per year; the base pay offered is based on market and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The starting salary will be determined based on a combination of skills, education, and experience.

Your skills in proposal writing, presentation development, project management and leading a team will help Pacific Blue Cross with business development and account retention activities.

**Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact**

The Proposal Manager leads Proposal Management by:

- Monitoring and managing engagement with common Procurement Platforms
- Initiating internal review of business opportunities with senior leadership
- Establishing project timelines, engaging cross-departmental teams and managing proposal responses and client presentation development efficiently to ensure all submission deadlines are met
- Submission of final business development documents to common Procurement Platforms
- Maintaining PBC’s proposal response knowledge base

**Key Experiences You Bring To This Role**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience developing RFP responses including experience of business writing, proofing, and editing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail; ability to work on tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and influence decision makers both internally and externally.
