**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Director of People Operations to develop, execute and maintain company-wide compensation structures and annual/mid-review processes, aligned with the company’s compensation philosophy and budget
- Own and administer our compensation management softwares (Pave/CompLogix/Aon-Radford) and support the market salary benchmarking processes
- Develop and maintain people policies, workflows, procedures and other documentation to make our People Operations processes more efficient
- Coordinate with legal, finance, IT and various teams to respond to ongoing requests and issue resolution
- Administer the employee offboarding process and oversee all types of employment letters
- Administer employee benefits program and keep up to date with ongoing changes to the benefits plan and communicate the changes to employees
- Support transactional activities as well as HRIS (Bamboo HR) administration, ensuring data accuracy including audits and contractor records
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements/legislative changes to reduce/prevent legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in the development and implementation of all strategic People Operations programs
- Support in the measurement and improvement of People metrics and collaborate with the BI team to implement people analytics dashboard
- Provide horizontal leadership and mentoring to others
- Support our Anti-Racism and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ADEI) mandate by being aware of our ADEI commitment and initiatives and completing all required ADEI training

**What We Think Is True About You**:

- You have a minimum of 3 years HR work experience with a focus on people operations/compensation
- You have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- You have a keen sense of how to prioritize & optimize your workload
- You possess good communication skills, written and verbal
- You have demonstrated resourcefulness in developing solutions and identifying improvements to existing processes
- You have experience working with HRIS and with an HR tech stack
- You bring analytics skills and experience with excel, data analysis and reporting
- You have some understanding of provincial employment standards (and a desire to learn more)
- You have experience dealing with a high degree of confidential information and compliance
- You bring experience collaborating with various stakeholders including finance, legal, talent acquisition and management
- You consider yourself someone who could roll up your sleeves, shift priorities and adapt quickly to support the People team in times of “all hands on deck” (we are a scale-up after all)

**Nice to Have**:

- Post Secondary education in Human Resources
- CPHR/CHRP designation
