Night Auditor/front Desk Agent

**Position Overview**
The Guest Services Representative/Night Auditor will be responsible for performing the Night Audit; minimum of **two days per week at the Idlewyld Inn & Spa in London from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. **But does not limit to working additional shifts including morning and/or afternoon shifts when needed.**Job Purpose**
The face of our boutique hotel and ensure that all guests have a memorable experience.
To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all revenue departments on a daily basis, and complete all necessary reports.
**Essential Job Functions**
- Responsible for welcoming guests through check-in and out of hotel, receiving payment, correcting account and reservation discrepancies
- Creating and cancelling reservations and act as the main liaison between the guest and the hotel
- Promptly and effectively deal with guest complaints and requests.
- Reconciliation of the day's transactions
- Performing the closing of the day in Maestro PMS system at the hotel.
- Performs the completion of the Night Audit Check-list and ensures the Night Audit Functions are completed and all reports distributed in a timely manner
- Input financial reports for management
- Deliveries to guest's rooms
- Security walks inside and outside of property
- Provide support and solutions to guest concerns or situations and ensure follow-up action is taken.
- Follow all required hotel & company policies
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments
- Establish and build relationships with guests to ensure all service expectations are exceeded
- Comply with company safety policies, procedures and guidelines
**Requirements**:
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and flexible to work various shifts/days, nights based on business requirements
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability multi-task and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work alone and work with all team members in a professional and courteous manner
- Professional, detail-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience as a Front Desk or Night Auditor within a hotel industry an asset
- Maestro experience and/or computer skills an asset
- Be eligible to work within the Canada
