Administrative Assistant/receptionist

Richmond Hill, Canada York Physiotherapy Associates Full time

In this role, you are expected to (but not limited to):

- Booking initial assessments and follow up visits and billing of appointments
- Experience with booking and billings software would be an asset
- Using practice management software (Clinicmaster) and data entry (training will be provided)
- A competent knowledge of the services that are provided in the clinic and the ability to explain them to potential patients
- Accepting multiple methods of payment via merchant terminal
- Ensure efficient operation of the clinic by managing all administrative tasks.

- Superior organization and time management skills to prioritize work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional people skills-on the phone and in person
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to multi task
- Fast learner with a great attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Experience with direct billing insurance using TELUS, Sunlife, Greenshield and Blue Cross would be an asset
- Must operate with integrity and treat the personal information of patients with the greatest degree of confidentiality

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-05-01
