We have a newly created opening for a District Sales Manager, reporting to our Western Zone Manager in our Burnaby, WZ facility. The District Sales Manager is responsible to manage and monitor the assigned territory’s new and used vehicle sales, programs, incentives and promotions with the objective of meeting the Company’s targets. This position also has the responsibility to establish standards to support dealers’ initiatives that are necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty and market representation within the territory.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide business planning support to the Company’s dealer network new and used vehicle business.
- Administer within an assigned area the distribution planning, allocation and forecasting activities to ensure wholesale objectives are achieved.
- Administer all customer satisfaction and loyalty programs and variance monitoring.
- Monitor dealer operations, in accordance with dealer agreements.
- Assist with personnel planning and recruiting within the dealership’s new and used sales departments.
- Coordinate training (and certification) activities within the dealership as it relates to the sales, leasing and financing of new and used vehicles.
- Coordinate auto shows and promotional events (e.g. mall displays).
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

- Ability to work independently and travel on a regular basis.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND DESIGNATIONS
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a sales function in the automotive industry. Previous experience in a field position (e.g. DSM/DCSM) would be desirable.
- Wholesale and retail experience at a dealership level would be an asset.
- Automotive industry experience is required.
- University degree in business discipline

**Hiring Range**: $72,500 - $100,000
