**OVERVIEW**:
Our Media Operations team plays a key role in implementing the organization’s strategic vision and enabling operational excellence. Working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business practice.

The Associate, Media Buy Enablement of Operations plays a critical role in ensuring that buy management activities and deliverables are executed on time at a high-quality level.

In this role you are responsible for coordinating and executing all day-to-day campaign buy administration activity for assigned client brands and campaigns, under the direction of a Media Operations Supervisor or Manager. You will be a key team member, working within our buy management processes and systems to ensure client orders are processed and monthly bill/pay activities are managed throughout the buy management process, within client approved budgets. This role includes developing positive and assertive relationships with planning and trading teams to effectively implement the client order, buys, billing, actualization and payments, in accordance with GroupM Standard Operating Procedures.

**YOUR IMPACT**:

- Day to Day pro-active coordination and execution of campaign initiation, activation, actualization and reconciliation activities in the campaign/buy lifecycle / RACI for your designated clients/brands and team
- Works progressively to owning process and being able to quality assurance review of campaign inputs and changes, ensuring accurate and seamless execution
- Establish a meaningful relationship with planning, trading and hybrid teams at the agency and GroupM Services to ensure key deliverables required for smooth campaign buy management processes
- Understanding of Tactical Plans and how to effectively initiate and activate a campaign
- Ensure campaign timelines are adhered to in the client order, bill and pay processes;
- Consult and guide all stakeholders on Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices in a tactful, but assertive method, leveraging Operations managerial support or counsel, when needed
- Where, applicable, manage and control Media Purchase Authorizations process, including implementation and routine monitoring;
- Monitor and ensure accurate Budget allocation of Media Purchase Authorizations to Campaigns
- Ensure the completeness of all media buys to ensure timely and accurate billing using relevant reports and tools in advance of billing deadlines
- Participate and contribute to client team meetings around client orders, billing and vendor payables status, bringing pending issues to completion;
- Mentorship/Teaching, where applicable, Media Teams; leveraging appropriate support when needed
- Progressively work across and evolve your knowledge of different buy management / administration platforms, including Mediaocean and related systems.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- College Diploma in a Marketing, Financial, or Project Management field, or equivalent experience is an asset
- A keen interest in Media and learning the end-to-end media process for all channels
- Attention to detail and an aptitude toward basic math
- Some knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Planner, workflow tool) is an asset
