**Overall Responsibilities**:
The Strategist's main responsibility is to provide input into (recommending) the most effective and cost efficient means of achieving the client's advertising objectives.

You must have a complete understanding of the media measurement tools used to evaluate opportunities and must also have a detailed knowledge of current media cost trends and buying conditions.

**Specific Duties**:

- Use media measurement tools in plan preparation, develop media POVs and hone writing skills
- Develop deeper understanding of client's business and develop integrated media plans in collaboration with team
- Develop your presentation skills and present media plans to client under supervision
- Ensure execution of plans and manage plan revisions due to budget or strategic changes
- Train and mentor Assistants
- Ensure involvement of broadcast buying group in strategic plan development
- Assist Supervisor and Associate Director
- Build rapport with account group, partner agency disciplines and vendors
- Investigate new ideas, trends (what's hot/what's new) and share with team and client(s)
- Lead monthly budget process: oversee data entry (inputting buys), BCR maintenance, clearing invoices and become resident expert in DDS
