As a Payroll & Accounting Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in handling financial records and ensuring precise compensation for our team. Coordinating across departments, you’ll process payroll and benefits accurately and efficiently, oversee accounts payable/receivable, and support overall financial operations. As a Payroll & Accounting Administrator, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
**Duties**:

- Processing payroll biweekly, including maintaining accurate payroll records and benefits-related general ledger accounts
- Tracking timesheets, attendance records, overtime, vacation, leave of absences, and other related records
- Managing and updating payroll modules and systems, implementing employee changes as needed
- Supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll entries and reconciliations
- Providing daily administrative support, including managing employee records and documentation, conducting regular audits for accuracy and compliance, and responding to employee inquiries
- Maintaining our Group RRSP and extended health benefits plans
- Preparing and processing reports and remittances for payroll & benefits vendors, government agencies, and health authorities (e.g., CRA, WCB, EHT)
- Assisting in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and reimbursements
- Undertaking other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of full-cycle payroll experience
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently with good judgment and initiative
- A solid understanding of benefit plans and relevant regulations
- Bookkeeping experience is an asset

**Compensation**:
For this position, the typical hiring salary range falls between CAD**$55,000** and **$75,000** per year. The base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills and experience. LMG's compensation structure is rooted in a performance and merit-based approach that acknowledges the performance of both the individual and the team.
