Accounting Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Administrator to provide administrative support and customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will effectively manage accounting and administrative information in our databases, demonstrating accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors in the office, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and direct where appropriate.
  • Respond to all emails and voicemails within 24 hours.
  • Setup, organize and maintain client files.
  • Review information received and identify inaccuracies or missing information.
  • Receive and send out mail, coordinating with couriers and administrators.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality and privacy.
  • Assist with copying, faxing, and scanning projects as required.
  • Prepare and maintain both financial and administrative documentation and records.

Requirements:
  • Post secondary diploma in business administration or equivalent work experience an asset.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an administrative position.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and Quick Books accounting software highly desirable.
  • Proficient in English and Punjabi.

Working Conditions:
  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM – 37.5 hours/week.
  • Weekend availability required during tax season.
  • Possibility for hybrid/remote work after completion of 3-month probationary period.
