**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This role is the primary contact for all YorkNet customers, assessing requests, negotiating customers’ contracts, coordinating work, and developing policies and procedures in compliance with YorkNet’s mandate and strategic direction. This position is responsible for the planning and development of business plans and consulting with partners to determine prioritization and implementation of activities to meet strategic priorities. Also responsible for managing YorkNet fibre asset management system including the installation of fibre monitoring systems; leading the collection and analysis of data management to determine the influence on processes and strategic direction; leading the long-term network planning and network improvement planning; and liaising with various levels of government to promote the Branch’s goals and objectives and obtains feedback.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
- Manages customer relationships with various internal partners such as Information Technology Services, Public Works, Community and Health Services, and other Regional departments, as well external partners including local municipalities, universities, school boards and hospitals (MUSH) sector customers, and Internet Service Providers.
- Leads and manages the legal agreement / customer contracts process for all external partners, including agreement review and approval, managing deliverables, negotiating pricing and scheduling work, leading management of risk and attaining revenue for the corporation.
- Leads planning and policy development activities, ensuring that the work is in compliance with YorkNet's mandate and strategic direction in order to mitigate risk.
- Manages the implementation and operation of YorkNet Systems, including deployment and operations as well as data management.
- Develops and manages processes for the corporation to support the delivery of network and connections, establishes and monitors processes to anticipate and resolve operational issues including customer intake, emergency maintenance, asset management and data management.
- Leads the collection and management of data supporting the corporation for strong asset management and financial reporting. Manages processes to make data more accessible through dashboards and enhanced mapping.
