**ROLE**:
The Field Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all on-site construction activities at the Eagle Mountain - Woodfibre Gas Pipeline (EGP) Project in Squamish, BC, adhere to the relevant permits, regulatory requirements, and environmental standards.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conducting regular and ad-hoc inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with permit conditions and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all compliance-related activities, including inspection reports, photographs, and documentation of any compliance issues.
- Utilizing approved forms to document adherence to permit conditions and report non-compliance issues.
- Collaborating closely with the Environmental Coordinators, Ground Disturbance Coordinator, Foreman, and other field personnel to ensure compliance measures are properly implemented.
- Providing daily compliance status reports to the Project Permitting and Compliance Manager and contributing to weekly compliance reviews.
- Acting as the primary field liaison for compliance-related matters, ensuring that all changes or updates to permit conditions are communicated effectively to on-site teams.
- Identifying and resolving compliance issues in real-time, coordinating with the relevant project personnel to implement corrective actions promptly.
- Providing on-the-ground training and guidance to field crews on the specific permit conditions applicable to their work.
- Performing other duties as assigned and consistent with the position.
- Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company._

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Qualifications_
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in civil engineering technology, construction engineering technology, geomatics engineering technology, construction management, land administration, or related field. Prior experience in a similar role may be acceptable in lieu of these qualification requirements.
- Experience_
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline construction; including some time spent in roles related to ground disturbance.
- Experience conducting on-site inspections and documenting compliance activities.
- Skills and Knowledge_
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, permit conditions, and compliance tracking systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements (e.g., use of personal protective equipment, incident reporting, etc.).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge with utilizing ArcGIS Survey123 is an asset, but not required.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
This position is site based in the Squamish project offices. The working hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through to Saturday with scheduled project shutdowns for long weekends. Occasional visits to other sites or SMJV offices maybe required throughout the duration of the project.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS**:
The Field Compliance Coordinator reports to the Permitting/Compliance Manager.

Expected Compensation Range of $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
