Reporting to the Senior Director of Health & Wellbeing, the H&W Operational Excellence Lead provides project management, continuous improvement, and change management leadership across the wellbeing portfolio - social, physical, mental, and financial. Additionally, this role supports each portfolio by identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency, recommending changes and evolutions, and ultimately, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver improvements. The overall portfolio includes (but is not limited to): insurance and other health-related plans, savings plans, and leaves and accommodations. With effective communication and storytelling ability, this role will also support with ensuring stakeholder engagement and clarity of health & wellbeing offerings.

a day in the life
Based in Vancouver, BC, this newly created role will have accountability for leading and managing efforts in identifying benefits processes that have opportunity for (efficiency) improvement with the intention of scaling with business growth and managing projects to deliver on operational change. As an experienced project manager and continuous improvement leader, you will also lead or support with ad hoc and special projects across the wellbeing portfolio. You will work closely with immediate peers on the Benefits team and cross-functionally with peers in People & Culture, Technology, Finance, and across all employee segments (retail, GEC, DC, and SSC) to drive process improvements with the goal of delivering delightful experiences in support of our employees living their best lives. As part of ensuring process optimization success, you’ll use your proven communication and content creation skills for continuous stakeholder engagement, change management initiatives, and content strategy and governance.

Project Management
- Manages deployments, implementations, or process changes to Benefits initiatives and programs requiring formal project management
- Establishes and maintains Benefits team project governance in alignment with organizational project guidelines, assets, and practices
- Leveraging your technical knowledge and experience with Agile principles and methodologies, acts as Benefits team liaison with P&C Digital and Technology partners
- As needed, supports with or leads enterprise-wise projects and be the Benefits team conduit between the business and other cross-functional teams (technology, finance, etc)

Operational Excellence
- Creates and maintains end-to-end process flow documentation and assets
- Maintains roadmap for program evolutions, and documents capacity and resourcing requirements
- Identifies, monitors, and re-establishes file feeds for consistency, in accordance with security/privacy guidelines and requirements, to ensure long-term operational effectiveness
- Develops and maintains ongoing utilization reporting / benchmarking across all health and wellbeing offerings (participation rates, utilization rates, top diagnoses, volume of leaves and accommodations requests, etc)
- Leads or supports with the integration of existing offerings and traditional benefits with "next practices" to deliver holistic suite of health, wealth, and wellbeing programmes to all lululemon employees
- Maintains continuous stakeholder engagement about our existing offerings to inform enhancements and drive changes in support of delivering the best employee experience ("signature experience"), at scale
- Where applicable, support with non-program-specific operational activities impacting the entire Benefits team

Change Management and Communications
- Be the lead for benefits content, communication and resource management and maintaining all avenues of communication (internal channels for different employee audiences)

qualifications
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in corporate benefits (vendors, benefits administration, etc.)
- CEBS is an asset
- 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional, and enterprise-level projects
- PMP is an asset
- 5+ years leading process improvement initiatives
