The role of the Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator is to plan, execute, and finalize purchasing and procurement for the company.
- This includes acquiring resources within budget and facilitating communication between departments and providers in order to deliver products and services according to plan.
- The Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator will also define the objectives or product and services in order to oversee quality control.
- Along with the Director of Finance, develop and enforce purchasing policy and ensure that all departments adhere to them.
- Manage any procurement activities including RFQ’s (Request for Quotes) and RFP’s (Request for Purchase).
- Overseeing the daily procurement and receiving for all departments.
- Review and fulfill daily requisitions as needed.
- Deal with suppliers regarding the handling or returning of damage or surplus goods.
- Deal and assist in goods clearance with Custom Brokers for clearance arriving and leaving the property.
- Receive all goods and products coming into to the property with respect to quality, accurate counts against the PO.
- Put away goods in their perspective areas that fall under the Purchasing & Receiving Stockroom.
- Follow-up on any back orders.
- Assist with the inputting of Food and Beverage invoices.
- Assist with accounting on missing invoices or discrepancies with invoice against PO’s.
- Track and ship any outside couriers.
- Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment.
- Produce and maintain all required reports.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
