Summary:
DMC is currently looking for a Document Controller to join our team on a contract basis, based in our Sudbury location. The Document Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records by entering data using a personal computer; and performs related clerical duties as assigned
**Responsibilities**:
- Enters data from paper records to create updated and maintained electronic files.
- Compiles sorts and verifies accuracy of data entered, makes corrections as required.
- Manage the on-site distribution of all required documents such as drawings, specifications, site instructions, change orders, and any requests for Information (RFI).
- Assist in the development of field installation work packages, specifically ensuring that documentation is numbered, in the correct format and information such as drawings, specifications, etc. are provided to the site team & vendors.
- Assisting in ensuring quality documentation is provided and complete.
- Assist in co-ordinating the monthly report to the client.
- Act as the key co-ordinator in transmittal of official written communications between project stakeholders
- Archive documentation at project close-out.
- Contacts originators of course documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
- Performs related clerical duties, as required.
- Demonstrates commitment to the continued improvement of Occupation Health and Safety performance.
- Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety, and environmental matters, over which the individual has control, including adherence to all requirements applicable to DMC.
- Such other duties may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Completion of high school program or general education degree or one year related experience.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions.
- Computer knowledge and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
