**Position: Homeowner Services Coordinator**

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the construction industry? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Homeowner Services Coordinator. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth transition of new homeowners into their properties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Homeowner Orientations and pre-delivery inspections for 209 condominiums, guiding homeowners through their new properties with professionalism and expertise.
- Clearly communicate maintenance requirements and customer service processes to new homeowners, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and our support system.
- Educate homeowners on the coverage provided by the Homeowner Protection Office through the Home Warranty Company, offering peace of mind and clarity on their rights and protections.
- Address homeowner inquiries regarding the move-in process, closing procedures, and relevant contacts with patience and efficiency.
- Compile and submit deficiency reports to the builder or developer daily, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Assist homeowners in measuring and documenting their properties if time permits, facilitating their familiarization with their new living space.

**Possession and Key Release**:

- Aid in the preparation of closing packages, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided to homeowners.
- Conduct property tours, highlighting parking, storage, amenities, and waste management facilities to new homeowners.
- Verify the functionality of keys and fobs throughout the building, troubleshooting any issues in collaboration with the property manager or general contractor.
- Review the property against the deficiency list generated during orientation, obtaining signatures from purchasers to confirm completion.
- Guide homeowners through the contents of the closing package, including contact information, warranty details, Key release Form, and Telus/Shaw utility setup procedures.
- Collaborate with the property manager and developers to address any key or fob-related issues promptly.
- Compile and submit completed closing packages to the developer, maintaining accurate records of transactions.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction-related customer service role, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical construction specifications and familiarity with the 2-5-10 Warranty in British Columbia.
- Ability to identify and explain deficiencies according to BC Housing Performance Guidelines, ensuring homeowners' understanding and satisfaction.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and professionalism when dealing with homeowners.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage diverse personalities effectively.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with site supervisors to ensure homeowners' safety and satisfaction throughout the process.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 90 days

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 3 years (required)
- Residential construction: 3 years (required)
- 2-5-10 Warranty in British Columbia: 3 years (required)
