Service Advisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service or repair. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, assessing vehicle issues, and recommending appropriate services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to the dealership/service center
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms or issues
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer
- Schedule service appointments and ensure timely completion of work
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs
- Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the service process
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a professional manner
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Advisor or related field preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of Powersports, Marine, Power Equipment repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
- Cash handling experience is a plus
