**Job Summary**
- We seek outgoing individuals who are passionate about energy efficiency to join our team as Field Assessors. The role will incorporate outreach and a **sales-based** approach while conducting audits.
- Work independently and as part of a team to engage small businesses in utility-funded energy conservation opportunities
- Visit businesses based on a schedule that varies by city and where open time slots are filled by canvassing surrounding businesses
- Conduct walkthrough energy audits for the Save On Energy Small Business Program as a field program delivery representative in the Northern ON area
- Maintain an excellent customer service record while presenting program information directly to small-medium business owners and their management, accommodating their interests, needs, and timelines.

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience in the environmental sector is desired
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Valid Canadian driver’s license
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable car and insurance will be required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for working within the energy and environment sector
- Must be computer literate
- Ability to speak multiple languages is considered an asset but not required
- Technical knowledge of lighting and lighting systems is considered an asset but not required, as this will be taught

**Compensation: **This contract position has full-time hours, including hourly wage, generous commission plan, and mileage reimbursement.
