**DEPARTMENT**:
The Fund Development department aims to develop and implement strategies to increase the funding income of Islamic Relief through a range of fundraising initiatives and through acquisition and retention of donors, volunteers and community supporters

**JOB PURPOSE**:
To support the operations of the National Fundraising Team and help enable team cohesion, growth, and achieve department goals.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Operations Manager and team on national fundraising campaigns
- Develop systems and processes to support the National team on major campaigns (i.e. Ramadan collections, fundraisers, national challenges, etc)
- Oversee crowdfunding pages and manage logistics of crowdfunding campaigns (communication with campaign creator, creatives, information on the cause, etc)
- Prepare and submit requests for marketing collateral for fundraising campaigns
- Liaise with National team to organize regional events and activities
- Track profit/loss after events and campaigns
- Oversee/submit department invoices, expenses, reimbursements to finance
- Support Operations Manager and team with day-to-day tasks

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**:
**Experience**:

- Some experience in administrative work or relevant position
- Experience with planning and implementing events
- Project management experience

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Post-Secondary Education; University degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Excel and prepare documents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in French is an asset
- Strong attention to detail required
- Proven capacity to work collaboratively and proactively with colleagues; to work effectively independently and in a team; and to work under time-bound and stressful
- Strong motivation and empathy towards the aims and objectives of the organisation
- Numerical skills, the ability to work accurately under pressure and pay attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills i.e. ability to prioritise and plan work, set and achieve deadlines, establish and maintain monitoring systems etc.

- Have a flexible approach to work in order to accommodate events, functions and work activity
