**Scale Operator and Logistics Coordinator**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

Our fifty locations in eighteen countries on five continents means our recycling network spans around the entire world. We work with more than 4,000 suppliers on all five continents. This enables us to recycle more than one million tons of raw materials every year, making them available to our customers precisely and exactly as required by their respective specifications.

We are currently seeking an experienced Scale Operator and Logistics Coordinator for our Canadian operation in Burlington, Ontario. This role reports to the Yard Manager at our Burlington location.

***:

- Take part in morning safety and toolbox talk meetings
- Work directly with yard manager and operational team members
- Work with suppliers and truck drivers
- Coordinate and control inbound and outbound truck traffic
- Accurately enter material weights of inbound deliveries and outbound shipments on receiving tickets, bills of lading, and customs documents.
- Logging of purchase order #, material type (s), weights, supplier names, truck type, and trucking company
- Communicate with carriers to book shipping dates, truck types and ETA’s
- Create a shipping and delivery schedule for the operations team via Gmail and Google calendar
- Other various data entries as required.

**Qualifications/experience/assets**
- Proficient with microsoft office and/or google workspace. (Tech savvy)
- Great communication skills
- Previous scale operation experience
- Knowledge of inventory tracking systems such as AS400 (asset)
- Logistics experience (dispatching)
- Knowledge of customs paperwork
- Experience with overseas shipments (asset)
