**Position**: People & Culture Coordinator
**Reports to**: Manager, People & Culture
**Position Term**: Full Time
**Workplace Type**: Hybrid
**Job Purpose**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Talent Acquisition & Volunteers
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and the company's careers page.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
- Prepare and send offer letters, employment agreements, and new hire paperwork.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, directing them to appropriate resources or personnel as needed.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Support the implementation of employee recognition programs.
HR Administration
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Assist with the administration of benefits, including enrollment and changes.
- Track and report on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
Culture & Engagement
- Help develop and promote initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate culture-building events, such as team-building activities, company retreats, and wellness programs.
**Compliance & Policies**:
- Assist in ensuring the organization complies with all employment laws and regulations.
- Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation and execution of employee training programs related to compliance and company policies.
**General Support**:
- Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the People & Culture Manager.
**Desired Experience, Expertise & Traits**:
- Human Resources Management diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, employment standards and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a strong team-oriented approach.
