Under the authority and in close collaboration with the Corporate controller, the Payroll Technician must ensure that the timesheet information is validated and that all payroll-related processes are processed.

This is a temporary position, 3 days a week.

**Your role on our team**- Process regular payroll of employees and subcontractors as well as variable remuneration (reimbursement of expense accounts, commissions, perdiems...)- Ensure the correct entry and approval of timesheets- Perform general ledger entries and month-end accruals- Perform year-end payroll tasks, such as processing statutory tax fillings and payroll audit support- Create ad-hoc reports upon request- Answer employee questions about their pay- Collaborate with the controller on various special projects and related tasks.

**You are the person for this role if you fit the following criteria**- DEC in accounting,- 3 years of relevant experience,- Excellent proficiency in MS Office Excel,- Knowledge of the ADP WFN and ADP RUN payroll system- Knowledge of Canadian and US payroll taxes and laws- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)- Ability to communicate clearly- Increased ability to simplify and work as a team- Ease of working in a fast-paced environment.
