**Human Resources Advisor**:
**_Permanent Full-Time_**
Are you a Human Resources professional who is looking to advance your career in a progressive and dynamic workforce community? In this role you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections across all levels of the organization, providing coaching, advice and guidance. You will lead and contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that foster an engaged and inclusive workplace culture that is hardwired for success. By providing strategic and hands-on support, this position plays an integral role on the HR team.
**_What we’re looking for:_**
- _A labour relations generalist_ who is adept at navigating unionized environments, from providing advice and guidance on collective agreement interpretation, to leading grievance discussions and conducting investigations;
- _A champion for employee engagement_ who thrives on playing a pivotal role in HR initiatives such as employee retention strategies, inclusion and diversity programs, and employee wellness programs;
- _A facilitator of learning_ who has experience recommending and developing programs and initiatives that support a workplace culture that is hardwired for learning and development;
- _An innovative thinker_ who has experience designing and implementing HR policies and procedures;
- _A people person_ who has a natural ability to foster connections and build strong and respectful relationships with both internal and external partners;
- _An occupational health and safety advocate_ who has experience in all aspects of the field from developing and implementing OHS programs and iniaiatives to collaborating with external agencies such as WorkSafe BC and the BC Municipal Safety Association;
- _A proactive outlook_ with a coordinated approach to supporting employees with safety, recovery and return to work plans.
