**Corporate Communications and Creative Manager**

**CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Corporate Communications and Creative Manager** **based in our corporate head office, in Oakville, Ontario. This position is a flexible hybrid office position.**

This position is responsible for developing and managing the overall corporate communication strategy at CGC Inc. This position will be responsible for assisting with brand management, digital marketing, advertising, product release, and managing overall media and government public relations.

**Duties and responsibilities of the Corporate Communications and Creative Manager** **include**:

- Co-ordinate and manage the annual communications plan.
- Works with internal and external customers on strategic proactive media outreach.
- Manage relationship with specialized creative and government agencies to coordinate the CGC communications plans.
- Oversee and makes recommendations for CGC’s digital and social media strategy.
- Identifies trends and leverages opportunities within the industry, using social and digital tools.
- Manages vendor and consultant relationships including metrics and key KPI’s.
- Manage expenditure as needed within set department or project budgets.
- Manage, govern, and provide guidance for CGC and USG brand strategy.
- Provide guidance for product launches and media / digital advertising.
- Collaborates with the USG Corporate Communications team to ensure company alignment.
- Oversees and collaborates both internal and external live media, and internal events and press releases.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.

**Experience**:

- 5+ Years of relevant work experience in communications and marketing required.
- Experience managing media relations and digital marketing campaigns.
- Understanding of website content management systems.
- Experience managing social media community for corporations and or brands.
- Experience managing staff and third-party Vendor relationships.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a flair for crafting compelling narratives.
- Creative thinker with the ability to turn concepts into engaging campaigns.
- Familiarity with the building materials industry is an asset.
