We are currently seeking an emerging Human Resources professional for a challenging experience based Internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will be helping shape human resources processes and procedures. This is designed largely as a remote placement however can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship you'll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and largely different from any other internship. It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great compliment to your academic investment.

**What You'll Do**:

- Assist in project management efforts, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Mature and scale the Human Resources team in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
- Drive efficiencies, automating processes, screening systems, shaping culture, and streamlining onboarding by refining team processes
- Provide vision, direction, and guidance to ensure project success and team cohesion.
- Coordinate closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvement and improve collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
- Contribute to the development and execution of staffing plans in support of our aggressive growth objectives.

**About You**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master level university program in specific to Human Resources like a Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) or recently or MBA with a focus on operations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and strong accountability to effectively engage in your work and contribute in a team environment ultimately driving success within Human Resource efforts.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
- Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

This is a full-time, paid internship with a minimum commitment of 3 months (520 hours). We do have some flexibility with possible Part-time placements providing it is to accommodate for academic responsibilities or visa restrictions but the total hours required remains the same. With flexibility comes increased responsibility to this will require a higher concentrated effort in order to be current with projects, align with your team and to extract the value this internship is engineered to award. The compensation will be $32-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
