**What YOU Will Do**

Under the supervision of the Director of M&OP (Methods and Operations), the position holder is responsible for overseeing departmental resources' involvement in a given project during both the proposal and execution phases. They lead and coordinate the resources assigned to the project, manage the development of construction methods, plan and design temporary structures, supervise the production of models and plans, and ensure the compliance of work on-site during the construction phase. They provide technical support throughout the proposal and project execution phases.

**SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work closely with team leaders and other M&OP managers to coordinate resources effectively to fulfill project mandates.
- Be responsible for quality control of the team's work, the quality of produced documents, and adherence to the deliverable production schedule.
- During the proposal phase, supervise and guide the preparation of general methods, work sequences, equipment requirements, and preliminary design of temporary structures.
- During the proposal phase or at the project's start, collaborate with the M&OP director and the construction team to define the key mandates that will be directly managed by the department and those that will be subcontracted (if applicable), and establish a deliverable production schedule.
- Define, in collaboration with the construction team, the general methods to be implemented at the construction site.
- Coordinate and ensure the production of various documents, including site installation plans, lifting plans, and other project-specific plans.
- Coordinate and ensure the production of phasing plans: temporary structure usage cycles and general work phases.
- Identify the best options for temporary structure implementation, aligning with the planned schedule and general methods, and anticipate site issues.
- Design temporary structures (special formwork, pile driving templates, platforms, temporary walkways and bridges, steel structures, cofferdams, temporary supports, etc.) and support engineers involved in the design process.
- Coordinate and ensure the production of models and fabrication plans for temporary structures.
- Manage the internal and external verification process for engineering documents produced for the project.
- Validate and finalize the design plans for temporary structures intended for the construction site.
- Sign and seal temporary structure plans.
- Provide technical support to the construction team for installation and method compliance.
- Certify the compliance of specific temporary structures.
- Serve as a relevant and credible technical resource for stakeholders.

**What YOU Will Bring**
- Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction engineering.
- Have relevant work experience ranging from 8 to 15 years in civil engineering and structural design.
- Have over 15 years of relevant work experience in civil engineering and structural design.
- Possess team management experience.
- Hold a full engineer's license from the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
- Have an excellent command of AdvanceDesign software or other finite element analysis software.
- Have excellent proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or Civil 3D is an asset.
- Proficiency in English is an asset.
