Under the supervision of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, working in conjunction with the Material Planner and the production team, the Material and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for acting as an intermediary between the parts warehouse and the production line.

The Logistics Coordinator works on internal projects for the existing fleet at the Montreal Maintenance Center.

Responsabilities:

- Manages inventory of parts to be remanufactured for future use.
- Checks and verifies kit contents and availability.
- Ensures materials are available and delivered on time to support production operations.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement activities related to warehouse management of remanufactured parts.
- Supports and promotes the 5S principles ( Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) applied in its field of activity.
- Responsible for the proper storage of materials in the various storage sites.
Requirements:

- University degree or DEC in logistics.
- 3+ years experience in a production or assembly environment.
- Experience in manufacturing.

Competencies:

- Knowledge of the inventory management department in the rail industry is an asset.
- Experience in parts repair is a definite asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and results-oriented attitude.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to multi-task, drive and versatility.
- Experience working as part of a procurement team to achieve objectives and carry out team projects.
- Problem-solving initiative and excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Procurement experience with Oracle ERP, an asset.
