**_Job Brief_**

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and hard-working Accounts Payable Clerk for a full-time position in our Head Office in Pickering. You will be part of a dynamic Accounts Payable team, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. You will interact with internal employees at varying levels, as well as outside vendors; in order to answer inquiries and process invoices to ensure they are paid in a timely manner.

**_Position Responsibilities_**
- Process invoices for payment including verification and data entry;
- Process and issue cheques including verification and distribution;
- Process manual payments as required;
- File original and paid invoices;
- Respond to supplier inquires as required;
- Reconcile general ledger accounts; and
- Undertake ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

**_Scheduling_**
- Full-time
- Flex-Hours Monday to Friday

**_Required Skills and Experience_**
- A minimum of one-year accounts payable experience; Residential Construction preferred;
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills; Builder Lynx/MS Dynamics/Timberline/NEWSTAR experience would be considered an asset;
- Detail oriented;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure; and
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
