**You have**:

- Current enrollment in a post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailed oriented with good analytical skills
- Ability to establish priorities, organize and complete work accurately and within deadlines
- Ability to work on a team as well as independently
- Ability to work in an online and office setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

**What you will do**:

- Support the Accounting team to input, validate, process and verify transactions
- Process and code invoices as part of the accounts receivable and payable cycles
- Maintains vendor information and accounting-related files, including scanning and timely maintenance of all vendor master records
- In collaboration with the Accounting team, analyze various accounts, relationships, and other financial information to assist managers in the Finance department with business decisions
- Help prepare reports and conduct analysis for management review
- Draft responses to internal queries on the status of accounts or invoices
- Provide administrative related support to the branch as required, such as filing, photocopying, archiving, scanning etc.
- Other duties as assigned

**_Rate: $17.30 per hour (first-time Summer Student) or $18.30 per hour (returning Summer Student)_**

**_Duration of Employment: May through to the end of August_**
