**Position Overview**

HTA 75 is seeking a Union Outreach Coordinator to collaborate with the management team and Community Outreach Coordinator in developing and executing outreach campaigns and initiatives. This role focuses on recruiting new clients for programs and services while increasing awareness of the organization within local Unions.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Implement effective and professional outreach strategies to promote HTA programs and services, utilizing various channels such as digital engagement, one-to-one phone and in-person interactions, external events, and Union canvassing.
- Create and manage an annual outreach plan that encompasses communication and marketing efforts for HTA 75 programs, activities, and events.
- Bring awareness, educate, and assist union members in understanding their options in terms of skill development at all stages of their career.
- Identify potential program opportunities based on conversations and feedback from union members.
- Collaborate with the Community Outreach Coordinator and Communications Manager to develop marketing and outreach materials, including brochures, print ads, e-newsletters, and other promotional materials for outreach campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Support outreach efforts, stakeholder management, and project implementation to effectively engage target audiences and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate tracking of program deliverables and outcomes, providing regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the centralized database for HTA 75 by collecting and analyzing data from various services, programs, educational initiatives, and outreach activities.
- Generate comprehensive summary reports for each activity, as well as quarterly and annual reports required by senior management for reporting, planning, and grant purposes.

**Role Requirements**
- This is a hybrid position and while some parts of this position can be completed at-home in a virtual setting, this position **will also require some in-person work**
- This position will require **work outside of standard business hours**. HTA75 programs reflect the needs of the hospitality workforce and its availability for training and support.
- **This position will be **required** to work evenings and weekends.**

**Required Skills & Experience**
- 3-5 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or related fields, preferably in non-profit and outreach activities.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in report preparation.
- Enthusiasm and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in social media, basic marketing platforms, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with Unions or politics is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- This role will receive an competitive annual salary of **$60,000 - $65,000 CAD** (pro-rated through the length of the contract, if applicable)
