The Youth Program Coordinator will plan and oversee Programs for Youth by creating a safe and nurturing environment for young individuals, offering guidance, and organizing educational and recreational activities, including Innovations Studios (Innovation Studios | AGBU ) and the integration of the Sports program. This role aims to empower youth, further promote personal development, and foster positive leadership relationships within the community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Formulate strategic plans to implement the vision of AGBU Toronto
- Form positive relationships with students and parents
- Recruit and retain students and families for extracurricular programs and activities
- Hire, support, and supervise instructors and coaches (e.g., observe classes, provide guidance, and conduct regular staff meetings)
- Communicate with current and prospective students and their parents
- Plan field trips and special activities
- Evaluate programs
- Promote the programs within the community

**Requirements
- Skills/Qualifications**:

- Experience running educational programs
- Experience hiring, managing, and supervising staff
- Experience in student recruitment and retention
- BA or diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred
- Excellent relational skills - ability to form collaborative bonds and communicate well with children and youth, parents, and staff
- Strong professional skills - ability to work quickly, independently, and with accountability
- Strong leadership skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm to try new approaches
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality written and media materials
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Armenian language preferred

Potential for the position to evolve into a full-time job depending on performance.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 10 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
