In this position you will join a collaborative Talent Acquisition and HR team to support Lumentum’s recruiting efforts in our Ottawa Canada location.

Are you ready to take your recruiting career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic and driven Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to report directly to the North America Talent Acquisition Manager and play a crucial role in shaping our innovative recruitment strategies. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and presenting top-tier talent for a variety of roles based in Canada and the US. Flexibility with time zones, active participation in co-op/intern student programs, and contributing to Talent Acquisition improvement projects are integral aspects of this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain robust relationships with HR Business Partners, key functional leaders, and Hiring Managers. Collaborate closely to forecast current and future recruitment needs, and together, devise cost-effective recruiting strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Innovative Recruitment Strategies: Drive the development and implementation of innovative recruitment strategies. Proactively build a pipeline of highly qualified talent while ensuring a consistently positive and engaging branded experience.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to ensure our recruiting programs and processes align with our strategic plan and business unit goals. Provide valuable insights and recommendations for process updates and changes to enhance effectiveness and compliance.
- Data Integrity and Compliance: Maintain 100% data integrity in our systems and properly document the talent acquisition process for each job opening to ensure compliance with best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Seasoned Recruiter: You have over 10 years of recruitment experience, specializing in the Canadian markets.
- Versatility: Your experience spans a broad scope of recruitment, covering both technical and non-technical roles, from Co-op and Intern positions to professional-level hires.
- Collaborative Spirit: You excel in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with your Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and the HR organization.
