The Commercial Contracts Analyst is responsible for leading various projects and business operational processes by conducting qualitative reviews of contracts and contract registry entries, gathering requirements and preparing detailed business and functional requirements specifications for the users. The Commercial Contracts Analyst performs data gathering and analysis using data visualization tools and works with external stakeholders to prepare and analyze contract management data and reports. The Commercial Contracts Analyst conducts end of project activities audits to ensure sourcing strategic procurements are compliant with PHSA policy and all applicable trade agreements.
**What you’ll do**
- Develops complex strategic reporting for supply chain contract management by identifying trends, analyzing key performance indicators, determining user needs and requirements, creating project work plans and assisting the team in system development, implementation, documentation, interfacing and maintenance within established policies and guidelines in accordance with the PHSA strategic contract plan.
- Conducts qualitative reviews of contracts and contract registry entries to ensure accuracy.
- Gathers detailed information from user departments and prepares detailed business and functional requirement specifications.
- Gathers, analyzes, and interprets large data sets from multiple sources using data visualization tools, in order to develop reports to assist with project planning, monitoring and reporting against service level targets.
- Works with external stakeholders to prepare and interpret contract management data and reports.
- Conducts end of project activities audits to ensure sourcing strategic procurements are compliant with PHSA policy and all applicable trade agreements.
- Logs and processes rebate payments and reporting.
- Reviews, analyses and evaluates Current State and Future State business processes, systems and user needs. Provides recommendations for process improvement and works with staff and managers to evaluate alternative solutions which most effectively meet needs while maintaining acceptable business standards.
- Provides user orientation and training based on system and process changes. Develops and maintains reference documentation such as workflow charts, user instructions, manuals and reference materials on business processes, policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as required.
**What you bring**
**Qualifications**:
- Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Mathematics, Statistics, Business or a related Public Health field, three years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

- Ability to write programs in a variety of programming languages

- Ability to operate related equipment
