**Job Description**:
The Colleague Engagement team, within the broader TDI Strategy, Customer and Colleague Experience team, is accountable for designing, implementing and overseeing the legendary colleague engagement strategy for TD Insurance. Reporting to the Manager, R&R and Events, the Colleague Engagement Specialist will be an advocate for colleague engagement at TD Insurance and will have responsibility for strategic planning and flawless execution in colleague experience initiatives.

**Requirements**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- Work to enhance overall colleague experience and engagement through management of colleague experience programs, initiatives and events for TD Insurance (TDI) departments ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Develop, implement, and maintain engagement and communication strategies to create a culture of care through appreciation, recognition and engagement
- Raise awareness of colleague engagement through campaigns, communications, presentations and reward and recognition initiatives
- Leverage “Best in Class” colleague engagement best practices being used in similar programs at TD Bank and externally
- Provide recommendations to enhance our programs such as, but not limited to, EAW, This Month in Fun, Festive Fun, All Stars Wild Card and Mission Heroes
- Maintain thorough working knowledge of the TDI All Stars program and ensure best practices are followed when developing the All Stars sustainment plan
- Owner of the TDI All Stars Connections community responsible for content creation and engagement
- Provide support to Manager and respective business partners by executing project plans to enable colleague engagement strategies
- Promote colleague precognition through eCards and proactively ensure inventory of cards are available to support TDI initiatives and business focus
- TDI representative for VIA

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated passion for colleague and customer experience excellence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Resourceful with the ability to work independently but also collaboratively with a variety of individuals at different levels and from different business areas/functions, ability to influence and negotiate to deliver results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external business partners to deliver on project tasks
- Strong balance of creative, technical, project management and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and deliver on competing initiatives under tight timelines while staying resilient and positive under pressure
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to balance changing requirements and priorities
- Ability to create forward thinking strategies and roadmaps for colleague engagement
- Good judgment, understanding when to escalate and what to resolve on your own, bringing forward recommendations for possible resolution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook & Power Point), and Connections
- Desktop publishing would be an asset
- Understanding of the Insurance business would be an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset

**Education and Accreditation**:

- An undergraduate degree in a related field
