We are looking for an energetic, results-driven **Sales and Account Manager** to join our team and help drive business growth while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with our valued clients, partners and other vendors.

**Position Overview**:
As a **Sales and Account Manager**, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing client accounts within the landscaping and construction sectors. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects that exceed client expectations. This position requires a blend of sales expertise, customer service, and project management skills to effectively contribute to the company’s growth and client retention strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Strategy & Lead Generation**:
Identify and generate new sales leads through networking, referrals, cold calls, and industry events. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract new clients and expand business within existing accounts.
- **Client Account Management**:
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and continued business. Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing ongoing communication, regular project updates, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- **Consultative Selling & Proposal Creation**:
Meet with clients to understand their needs and offer customized landscaping and construction solutions. Prepare detailed proposals, estimates, and presentations tailored to client requirements, effectively communicating project scope, costs, and timelines.
- **Collaboration with Internal Teams**:
Work closely with the owner, designers, project coordinators and other managers to ensure seamless project delivery from start to finish. Ensure projects stay within scope, on budget, and meet the agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards.
- **Contract Negotiation & Closing Deals**:
Negotiate project contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet company margins. Close sales and move leads through the pipeline to successful project launch.
- **Market & Competitor Analysis**:
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for business growth and to stay ahead in the market.
- **Sales Reporting**

Maintain up-to-date records in our software and provide regular sales reports to management. Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on key performance metrics.
- **Customer Support & Satisfaction**:
Provide excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of each project. Address client concerns promptly and ensure that clients are satisfied with the final product, encouraging repeat business and referrals.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the landscaping, construction, or home improvement industries.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle, from lead generation and pitching to closing deals and managing ongoing accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build lasting relationships.
- Solid negotiation skills with experience in pricing and contract management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to overcome challenges.
- Knowledge of the landscaping and construction industry, including an understanding of project scopes, timelines, and costs, is a plus.
- A degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
