**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide consumer insights leadership to better understand consumer attitudes and behaviors, evaluate trends, uncover unmet needs, identify opportunities for innovation and new product development, and validate new product concepts; translate findings into actionable insights that influence key projects and drive product development.
- In collaboration with the Marketing Team, provides thought leadership to design research and deliver compelling insights supporting customer value propositions, the innovation process, new program launches and collateral materials to enable Sales, Commercial and Business Development teams.
- Champion the annual FlavorIQ Trend program, through collaboration with a cross-functional team, with trend identification and recommendations, as well as market and consumer insights support and communication material development.
- Lead and manage all aspects of primary research design and execution, including screener design, participant recruitment, survey or moderate guide design, survey programming, data collection, data analysis, report writing and presentation delivery.
- Manage budget and outside vendors relationships - use various software and tools to design and execute traditional online surveys, mobile surveys, focus groups, online discussion groups, TURF analysis, Conjoint analysis, Max/Diff.
- Lead insights in collaboration with sensory science to bring consumer insights and product attributes together to provide comprehensive product category reviews identifying white space and opportunities for enhancements.
- Provide insights leadership in Market Segments and Account Planning.
- Identify and trial new research methodologies and research partners.
- Define processes to increase the scope of Insights, including Competitive reviews to complement the understanding of Market dynamics and the implications to Griffith Foods.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Marketing, Consumer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration and/or Liberal Arts.
- At least 5+ years of relevant consumer insights experience.
- Demonstrated success in recommending research approaches and identifying impactful insights to drive action.
- Demonstrated success designing research, presenting insights to cross-functional teams and making recommendations based those insights.
- Knowledge of research fundamentals, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Knowledge of multiple consumer data and learning tools, processes, and analytical techniques.
- Presentation development and storytelling capabilities.
- A passion for deciphering and understanding consumer behaviors to uncover key insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong experience in designing, programming and analyzing online survey data.
