JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the trade and regional teams to identify strategic and customer specific shopper learning needs
- Translate and prioritize those needs to develop and execute and annual learning plan that drives improved business results
- Influence and leverage consumer insights to provide a holistic view of the business both sales and marketing
- Design, analysis and interpretation of custom research studies
- Represent Shopper Insights in commercial team activities where functional expertise is required including the develop of custom reports/presentaions for existing and potential customer meetings
- Drive the business’s understanding of Shopper and Trade trends that supports strategic long term planning
- Ensure local adherence to Global mandated Shopper Insights requirement and methodologies
- Leverage & manage supplier relationships to maximize quality and value (on a project by project basis)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- A University Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in market research - preferably both client and supplier with a focus on Shopper Insights
- Extensive knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies/techniques
- Proficiency in consumer understanding and retail/trade knowledge
- Understanding of marketing processes: business planning, marketing strategy, advertising development, media and promotions
- Competency in managing complex/strategic research projects
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret results
- Ability to effectively present to senior & diverse audience
- Strong leadership & negotiation skills to deal effectively with senior managers and a wide variety of external stakeholders with differing agendas
