W.A. Health Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trust Fund Accounting Clerk to cover a maternity leave contract with potential for a full-time position. As a Trust Fund Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately managing and maintaining trust fund accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and reconcile trust fund accounts using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses, verifying proper documentation and approvals.
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to address any trust fund accounting inquiries or discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports, including trust account statements, transaction summaries, and bank reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and organize trust fund records, adhering to recordkeeping best practices and confidentiality requirements.
- Stay updated on financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to trust fund accounting.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Trust Fund Accounting Clerk or a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, is essential.
- Strong understanding of trust fund accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $42,808.80-$57,808.80 per year
