Purpose of Role

The Specialist, Change Enablement reports to the Senior Manager, Change Enablement and provides organizational Change Management support. The role will focus on the people side of change - including changes to job roles and organization structures, business processes, systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

The key responsibilities of this role are:
Change Management:

- Make recommendations to help shape Change Management strategies and plans and execute them (i.e. communication, learning, engagement, etc)
- Act as a reference point for Change Management queries and information and act as an advocate for best practices within change management
- Maintain processes to ensure Change Management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete
- Report on Individual Change Portfolio, including change initiative status and health updates, engagement calendars and performance metrics
- Complete Change Management templates, including impact analyses, change readiness assessments and identification of key stakeholders, etc
- Facilitate meetings and deliver presentations as required

Relationship Management:

- Develop and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders and colleagues from cross-functional teams
- Build awareness of the value and deliverables of Change Management, and contribute to success through collaboration
- Integrate Change Management plans and activities into project plans by working closely with Project Managers
- Guide the drafting and executions of communication plans
- Manage communication deliverables to ensure key stakeholders have signed off and communications are translated as required
- Provide recommendations on the design and delivery of learning programs or plans

Key Competencies
- What you will bring to this role:

- Post Secondary Degree, with change management certification an asset
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Solid understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful change management
- Strong collaboration skills and team focus
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem solving and root identification skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Forward thinking with a holistic approach to incorporate National processes
