As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours, providing exceptional service to our guests and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is based in Toronto, one of Canada’s most vibrant and diverse cities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Nightly Audit: Conduct a thorough audit of the day’s transactions, including guest accounts, revenue postings, and other financial data. Verify the accuracy of guest charges, room rates, and payment methods, and rectify any discrepancies.
- Guest Services: Greet guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met and any concerns are addressed promptly. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, answering inquiries, and resolving issues during the overnight shift.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute accurate financial reports, such as daily revenue summaries, occupancy reports, and cash balances. Ensure all financial records are properly balanced and reconciled with the property management system.
- Night Operations Support: Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to address any guest requests or issues that arise during the night. Assist with ensuring the safety and security of the property and guests by monitoring surveillance systems and reporting any suspicious activities.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain a high level of accuracy in all audit-related activities, follow established protocols, and contribute to maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including property management systems and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial calculations and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
