**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating as needed.
- Help with inventory management by tracking food supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Monitor food quality during cooking processes to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in Indian restaurant is required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is beneficial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Proficiency in food safety protocols and procedures
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and meal preparation
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Serv Safe certification is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time

Pay: Negotiable

Schedule:

- 6 days a week
- Friday to Sunday work is a must

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
