Parts Coordinator

Equipment World - Sudbury is seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our team. If you are someone with parts experience and/or are mechanically inclined, we encourage you to apply.
As a key member of the Parts department, the parts coordinator will be responsible for the flow of paperwork, scheduling, tracking and customer follow up. Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Estimate and quote prices, credits, warranties and delivery dates of product (including research of same)
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal/external usage (including part requisitions)
- Manage all local and vendor specific (part) purchase orders
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse, supply room or other area
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual and computerized SAGE inventory system
- Prepare and requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies as required
- Advise customers or internal users on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested
- Maintain mechanical van inventories
- Update, transfer and maintain accurate customer information on equipment line card
- Maintain adequate stock of parts required for the P.M. Fleet schedule
- Assist with managing part maintenance of internal rental equipment
- Prepare billing information for invoicing - generate and track computerized work orders for parts on order
- Manage purchase orders relating to parts / expediting of orders by working in conjunction with Service team to coordinate part requirements
- Assist and manage inventory control and daily cycle counts
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Use of dealer and manufacturer online portals ie Toyota, Bobcat, Genie etc
- Interact with suppliers, coworkers, management and customers via phone, electronic mail, and in person
- Contribute to overall success of the company
