About the role:
Your day-to-day will vary but your mission is simple;
Your mission is to ensure the flow of transactions for your market.
As a key member of our Programmatic team, and reporting to the Vice-President, Global Head of Media Sales, you will be taking full responsibility for ad operations in your region. You will supervise the account managers who work with media buyers and media owners and ensure the highest quality of service. You are also the first point of escalation of issues for the team.
At a market level, you will monitor the auction and identify relevant trends in the supply and demand landscape, ensuring a healthy balance, and make informed requests of publisher sales/AMs, media sales, and DSP account management. And finally, you will also monitor and investigate any anomalies flagged by the team such as sudden decreases in inventory for sale by a given publisher, abnormally high or low spending by a DSP, and drastic price or impression fluctuations.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Experience scaling an organization, designing operational best practices, and holding teams accountable
- Previous ad ops experience - either from a programmatic function within an OOH media company or a digital ad ops team in the online media space
- A solid understanding of the digital programmatic world and/or the digital out-of-home programmatic ecosystem
- A highly organized and diligent approach in the setup and management of campaigns, highly proactive in looking for ways to squeeze more value out of the auction
- A deep understanding of auction dynamics and how a large and highly fluid marketplace responds to different forces
- A deep sense of team spirit - the ad ops team delivers millions of dollars of media across a complex ecosystem of integrated platforms - this is the team that ensures delivery and makes it happen and your role as market lead is to foster teamwork, demonstrate strong leadership, great service, collaboration, and clear communication
