Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Be highly organized
- 2 years Medical Reception experience
- Invoicing, third party billing/transaction (debit/credit)
- Billing (MSI codes)
- Booking appointments in office, at hospital as well as, surgical bookings and additional testing
- Answering phones on daily basis
- Must be able to work as an individual and as part of a team
- Multitasking
- Reliable and responsible
- Accountable/ Punctual
- Professional in communication and dress at all times
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Med-Access (and other EMR/electronic booking systems an asset)
- Cross Training within office/provide coverage for other Physicians.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B3H 1Y6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
