**Job Description** Title**: Coordinator, Development

**Department**: Development (Community Giving)

**Terms**: Permanent full-time (34 hours/four days per week)

**Location**: Based at our Vancouver office. Hybrid working options available.

**Reports to**: Development Manager, Community Giving

**Union**:Unionized Role

**Salary**:$52,500

Position summary

As a part of the Community Giving team, the Coordinator, Development is responsible for donor services and gift processing and plays an integral role in the success of the David Suzuki Foundation’s fundraising and donor stewardship efforts. They work collaboratively with the other Community Giving Coordinators, providing back up support to ensure key separation of duties requirements are met when someone is away.

Key responsibilities
- Identify and share trends in donor interactions and donor feedback with the Development team.
- Support individual and small businesses with their fundraising initiatives (third party fundraisers).
- Lead annual, organization-wide donor recognition thank you calling.
- Process cheque, credit card, and direct debit card batches. Issue official and duplicate tax receipts.
- Provide back-up support for mail sorting, bank deposit, invoice coding and other Community Giving coordinators tasks, as necessary.
- Maintain and organize donor relations procedural documents, files and donor communications including automated responses.
- Support Development team by testing online donation forms, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Support Development team with various administrative tasks, as necessary.
