Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software and systems.

**Duties**:
1. Data entry of transactions of bank and credit card statements and customer and vendor invoices in accounting system.

2. Verify that the transactions are recorded in the correct GL account.

3. Record, day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process through vendor, customer, payroll modules and manual journal entries including bank and credit card statements.

4. Generate payroll for bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll schedules.

5. Prepare and submit tax remittance forms, WCB forms.

6. Prepare and submit GST, PST and WCB returns and reports.

7. Generate tax slips

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
